SACRAMENTO (Sep. 24, 2004) – Four-wheel drive enthusiasts and their families are invited to Reno, the "Biggest Little City in the World," for the California Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs’ 2004 annual convention at the Reno Hilton Hotel, Friday, Feb. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004.

According to convention chairman Mike Feddersen, the 2004 event is shaping up to be one of the largest and most exciting conventions on record.

"We are looking at providing our convention guests with an atmosphere of fun, relaxation, sightseeing, an outstanding trade show and much more," said Feddersen. "In addition to great rooms at the hotel, guests will have the luxury of choosing any one of ten restaurants to fulfill their dining pleasure; everything from a cup of coffee and donut to a juicy steak and mouthwatering buffet."

Feddersen said that in addition to a tremendous manufacturers display show, the 2004 convention will also feature arts and crafts and enthusiasts are encouraged to dress up their four-wheel drive rigs for a huge vehicle show. For the children, he said plans are being made for bowling, miniature golf, go-cart racing, arcade games and much more.

Arrangements have been made for special convention room rates of $79 per night at the Reno Hilton. To receive this rate, call the hotel before Jan. 13, 2004 at 1-800/648-5080 and explain that you will be part of the CA4WDC four wheel drive expo and trade show. Reservations after this date will be accepted on room availability.

Cost to attend the Reno 2004 convention is $40, which includes the Saturday night awards dinner, Friday night entertainment, one dash plaque and entrance to the trade show. The cutoff date for this price is Dec. 31, 2003. For those choosing to register later, the price will be $45 per person.
