Rose Parade

This happens to be the first major function our founding members did together, and we’ve been involved ever since.  We are hired yearly by Fiesta Floats owner and long time member Tim Estes to tow his parade floats form Duarte, where they’re built, to Pasadena for the Rose Parade.  In recent years the floats have become so large and heavy that it’s been a blessing having larger trucks in the club.  This usually turns out to be an all night affair New Years Eve, so we have a New Years party in April for all those who helped that year.  It’s fun watching all the people watch us go by.  It’s like we’re in our own little parade, because traffic stops and people line the streets to see the floats up close.
