Silverwood Lake to Big Bear

 We really enjoy this trail!  Once or twice a year we run this trail that starts from the entrance to Silverwood Lake.  The trail head starts as a graded dirt road but quickly turns into a wonderful dirt road that follows the crest of the hills up to the forest line.  There’s numerous hill climbs in this area with various degrees of difficulty.   At the point where this trail ends another trail crosses the path and heads toward Deep Creek.  We continue on the Deep Creek trail and various trails as we get closer to Big Bear.  An extremely fun day run with some hard spots, but nothing we can’t handle.
