Purpose:
The basic purpose of the Foundation is to acquire resources from both
public and private sector sources to develop programs in the areas of resource
conservation, four-wheel drive vehicle driving safety, public education and
related areas.
California Non-profit:
The Foundation is a California (c)3 non-profit corporation.
Board of Trustees:
The Board of Trustees consists of between six and eleven members. It is made
up of the president and the three vice presidents of the California Association
of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, plus two Trustees-at-large, one to five trustees
representing firms, agencies or individuals who have financial or in-kind
contributions to the Foundation.
What we do:
The Foundation seeks grants to provide funds for conservation & education
programs related to four-wheel drive recreation throughout California. Such
programs are driving safety, public education and conservation projects. We also
provide grants to CA4WDC clubs and individuals to help them do conservation and
education projects.
