South District elects two new board members

Today Harry Baker, South District VP, announced that Linda Wucherpfennig is the new South District Secretary Treasurer, while Jesse May was elected to the Membership Chair position.

Harry would like to thank Val Henry and Erik Schreiner for their service to the district for the past two years.

Central District has one new board member

From Steve Egbert, Central District VP:

Robert Escalera was elected Seceratary Treasurer. Robert has served as Membership Chairman for the past two years. I thank him for that service, and look forward to working with him in his new position. I am sure he will do a great job.

Phil Moreno was elected Membership Chairman. Phil is a member of Lock and Low Four Wheel Drive of Visalia, the same club that Mark and I belong to, and is also a member of the Clovis Independent Four Wheelers and the River Rats Off Road Club. Phil continues the Lock and Low tradition of service to the association. Phil is a volunteer in the Sierra National Forest as an OHV Host and in 2010 had the most reported volunteer hour in that program. He also helps with adopt-a-trail on Bald Mountain with Clovis and Mirror Lake Trail with Lock and Low. Phil, along with his wife Angel, have volunteered the past two years at SEMA for the association. Phil has also helped with Molina, Convention and High Sierra Poker Run. Lastly Phil is an active member of the Tulare County Sheriff's Mechanized Search and Rescue team. Please join me in welcoming Phil to the board.

Dale Lamb was reelected as Individual Member Delegate, I thank him for continuing to represent the individual members of the district.

I would like to thank Al Spires for completing my term as Secretary/Treasurer he did a good job. Al has again volunteered to chair the 2012 High Sierra Poker Run, Al did a great job with the event last year despite the down economy. High Sierra has to have 70 registrations to do well, Al has set a much higher goal for this year to bring in a higher profit as we did a few year back when the economy was doing much better. Thanks to Al for continuing his service to the association.

The North District will hold its elections during its quarterly meeting on January 28.
